High-speed pneumatic cylinder for sawmill trimmers
Our trimmer cylinder comes with many benefits compared to traditional cylinders, including:
- Wood resin and sawdust resistance
- Fast stroke; 240 s/min
- Service- and adjustment-free; automated run-time adjustment
- Extended lifetime; 15,000,000 strokes
- Low lifecycle costs; lubrication-free, no wearing parts
- Cylinder dimensions: Diameter 100 mm, stroke length 100 mm, other stroke lengths on request
- Max. supply pressure: 10,0 bar
- Operating medium: Compressed air, filtered, max. 40 μm

- Typical stroke time for full stroke with trimmer saw: Downwards 110 ms, Upwards 130 ms

Cylinders to turn doctor beam
- Turnbuckle construction to position doctor blade precisely on a roll’s surface without unfastening a cylinder
- Automated locking function at the end positions as an option
- Takes just one 5/2-valve to operate even with the lock
- Cylinder diameter: ø 100 mm and ø 125 mm, standard strokes 30, 50 and 100 mm
- Eye distance adjustment: ± 20mm

Actuators with integrated controls
Case study: An actuator for lowering upper blades of a winder with integrated manual override valves.

Oscillating cylinder
The oscillating cylinder PPO is designed for applications requiring continuous back-and-forth motion. The PPO is made from materials that withstand the demanding conditions present in paper machines. Oil mist lubrication is strictly prohibited, or an oil removal filter must be used.
High speed cylinders with soft stopper function
High speed cylinder with integrated release valve and adjustable end cushioning.
Benefits:
- Within 250 mm, a mass of 8 kg is accelerated to top speed 8 m/s and stopped
- No need for hard to adjust mechanical triggers
- No need for external shock absorbers
- Application: In reelers to cut the web during reel spool change

A pneumatic cylinder equipped with hydraulic shock absorbing function at the front end.
Benefits:
- Robust construction to absorb heavy inertial force
- As easy to install and use as a standard cylinder
